Swedish Medical Center CT Technologist - Medical Imaging in Everett, Washington

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a CT Technologist (Per Diem, Variable shift) to work for the Medical Imaging Department at Swedish Mill Creek in Mill Creek, WA.

The CT Technologist Medical Imaging performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner.

In this position you will:

  • Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment

  • Start IVs and administer IV, oral, rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite

  • Provide exemplary customer service

  • Participate and be engaged in a team framework and maintain a positive approach and attitude

  • Continue to use radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Completion of formal Radiologic Technology program

  • Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT

  • Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license

  • CPR certification

  • 2 years experience in medical imaging including 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist

  • Post primary certification in CT within 1 year of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Previous experience in a CT Scan department

About the Mill Creek Campus:

Swedish/Mill Creek has 86,000 square feet of space on three above-ground levels and a partial basement. The E.D. – which is open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week – features 18 emergency exam rooms and six additional observation beds. It shares the first floor with a complete diagnostic imaging center with X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI, which is staffed by partners from Seattle Radiology. A full laboratory and offices for primary- and specialty-care providers are on floors two and three. Swedish/Mill Creek can immediately treat patients suffering from stroke to severe lacerations or burns, broken bones, sports injuries, allergic reactions, food poisoning, work-related injuries and many other medical emergencies and non-emergencies.
