Swedish Medical Center Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiac Catheterization in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist (1.0 FTE, Day shift) in Cardiac Catherization at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
The Cardiovascular Technologist assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate knowledge in heart pressures and wave forms, reading electrocardiograms, and advanced cardiac life support skills
Functional understanding of diagnostic and interventional radiology imaging equipment
Set up and operation of monitoring equipment and vital sign recording
Scrub and assist the physician as needed during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures
Participate in restocking and cleaning the rooms
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program
Certified by the Washington State Department of Health as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - CPR
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Six months previous cath lab experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
