Swedish Medical Center Certified Nursing Assistant - Education Track - Cherry Hill Telemetry in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant – Education Track (Per Diem, Variable) to work in Telemetry at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Nursing Assistant Certified assists in the delivery of patient care and department-related activities under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

In this position you will:

  • Provide patient care as directed by the team Registered Nurse and within scope of practice

  • Communicate and document all daily activities and care provided to the patient

  • Respond appropriately and timely to unit and patient alarms

  • Set up and maintain the neatness of patient rooms

  • Assist with patient admission, discharge, transfer, and associated documentation


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school education or equivalent

  • Current student status both enrolled and in good standing in a traditional registered nursing program approved by the Nursing Quality Care Assurance Commission. ACEN http://www.acenursing.us/accreditedprograms/programsearch.htm CCNE http://directory.ccnecommunity.org/reports/accprog.asp

  • At a minimum, satisfactory completion of at least one academic term (quarter or semester) that included clinical patient care experience is required. Strong preference will be given to students enrolled in a BSN program

  • Current Washington State certification as a Nursing Assistant Certified

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Washington State Medical Assistant - Registered will be required with Swedish Medical Center facility application completed within 7 days of hire. Must obtain active license within 60 days of hire
