Swedish Medical Center Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Services in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Nights) to work in Emergency Services at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care and nursing service activities consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
In this position you will:
Supervise the Emergency Department Staff
Direct the professional nursing care for patients in the assigned area
Active in rounds with patients to obtain insight into care provision and patient satisfaction
Establish strong rapport with physicians, staff and peers
Work with the manager to develop, implement, and monitor unit based quality improvement programs
Comply with established operational plan, staffing pattern and operating budget
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Baccalaureate in Nursing
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Washington
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Clinical Experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience as a Supervisor or Charge Registered Nurse
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
