Swedish Medical Center Environmental Services Technician in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Environmental Services Technician (0.7 FTE,Evening Shift) in the Environmental Services Department at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.

This position is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint.

In this position you will:

  • Interact with visitors, patients and staff

  • Light maintenance duties

  • Service of equipment

  • Clean and place critical use equipment properly

  • Insure adequacy of supplies

  • Perform floor maintenance for all floor coverings

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school education or equivalent

  • Experience in environmental services in a healthcare or hotel setting

  • Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of units of measurement

  • One year of customer service experience
