Swedish Medical Center Executive Assistant - Swedish Cancer Institute Administration in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Executive Assistant to work for the Swedish Cancer Institute Administration Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for a wide range of high-level administrative support to a Chief or Senior Executive or two or more Vice Presidents who are members of the Senior Leadership Team. This position is primarily responsible to act as back-up to Senior Executive Assistants who are ill or on vacation, and to provide additional administrative and project support when circumstances require additional resources.

In this position you will:

  • Manage the calendar and meeting schedule in the absence of the Senior Executive Assistant,

  • Review and preparing correspondence, reports and presentations and organizing, prioritizing and coordinating workflow.


Requirred qualifications for this positoin include:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school

  • Minimum five years recent administrative work supporting a high level executive in a major organization

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Independent thinking, ability to interpret policies and procedures

  • Interpersonal relationships.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Health Care experience
