Seattle, Washington - Swedish Family Medicine Residency - First Hill is seeking a full-time (.9 - 1.0 FTE) Family Medicine physician to join our faculty on the Swedish First Hill campus. We are a large, urban family medicine residency with three clinical sites serving some of Seattle’s most vulnerable communities. We graduate 11 residents per year, plus five advanced obstetrics fellows and two fellows in geriatric medicine. Our residency program is affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine and the WWAMI Residency Network, a collaborative multi-state group of family medicine residencies. Our mission is to train family physicians to serve local and global communities through exceptional patient care, leadership, and advocacy for health and social justice. This position will have a weekly schedule that includes family medicine outpatient clinic, precepting residents, curricular work and dedicated administrative time. Ideal candidates will have skills in full-spectrum family medicine and previous teaching experience. This position has the potential for attending on our Family Medicine inpatient service and taking call for obstetrics. Candidates must be ABFM certified and possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Washington, have DEA certification, and must have or be able to obtain by the time of employment medical staff privileges at Swedish Medical Center.
