Swedish Medical Center Film Library Clerk - Breast Care Center in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Film Library Clerk (1.0, Days) to work for our Breast Care Center at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

This position is responsible for maintenance of the system-wide breast imaging film library, managing images for First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, and Issaquah.

In this position you will:

  • Ensure availability of department film jackets

  • Process requests for films/CDs and reports

  • Ensure PACS images are available for physician interpretation

  • Use Epic medical record system to tract locations of images and files

  • Use HIMs required Release of Information online forms and Epic log


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • CPR certification or must obtain within the first three months of employment and maintain annually

  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment

  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in a health care setting

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
