Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Medical Imaging Electronics Tech II (1.0 FTE, Days) in Medical Imaging Engineers at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Medical Imaging Electronics Tech II is responsible for supporting the MIE asset management program for all modalities of imaging equipment (X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Radiography, PACS).
In this position you will:
Use effective communication to provide responsive service to customers and always represent the department in a polite, safe, and professional manner.
Schedule and coordinate equipment service in accordance with SMC, regulatory, and manufacturer’s guidelines, and, customer department schedules.
Perform incoming equipment acceptance duties, cleaning, preventive maintenance, calibrations, alignments, and major and minor repairs on equipment in the MIE asset management program.
Submit accurate and timely service reports, including parts orders and other supporting documentation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum AAS degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from an accredited program or completion of equivalent electronics training from military, vocational/technical schooling or manufacturer/vendor schooling
Must have successfully completed specialized service training in two or more of the following medical imaging specialties: Radiography & Fluoroscopy, Computed Radiography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI, PACS (picture archival and communication system)
Minimum 5 years experience in field service of medical imaging equipment.
