Swedish Medical Center Perioperative Care Associate II in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Perioperative Care Associate II (1.0 FTE, VARIABLE SHIFT) to work in the Inpatient Surgery Support department at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Perioperative Care Associate II is an important member of a multi-disciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the operating rooms at the highest level of cleanliness.

In this position you will:

  • Assist with the turn over and preparation of surgical suites

  • Responsible for stocking the operating rooms with appropriate levels of supplies and returning any surplus to the appropriate location

  • Assist with transporting patients, equipment and specimens to various departments in the hospital

  • Assist the core facilitator with completion of case carts and preparation of positioning devices and equipment


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience cleaning, stocking, and turning over operating and special procedure rooms in a hospital setting

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sterilization techniques

  • CPR certification
