Swedish Medical Center Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Recovery/PACU I in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (0.8 FTE, Evening shift) to work in the Ambulatory Surgery Recovery/PACU I at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) assumes leadership, responsibility and accountability for designated patients in the post operative, phase I recovery unit.
In this position you will:
-Monitor patient vital signs directly after surgery, adapting readily to changing situations.
-Provide for patient safety throughout the PACU experience.
-Evaluate patients post-op including cardiac and hemo-dynamic monitoring
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, or must attain a BSN within 6 years of hire
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification required within 60 days of hire
Minimum 1year PACU experience or 2 years critical care experience
