Swedish Medical Center Scheduler, Linguistic Services in Seattle, Washington
Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Scheduler Linguistic Services (0.5 FTE, VARIABLE SHIFT) at Swedish Medical Center, First Hill Campus in Seattle, WA.
The Scheduler for Linguistic Services is responsible for daily scheduling duties and using a multi-line phone system and computerized database.
In this position you will:
Respond to SMC requests for interpreters
Screens requests for service eligibility
Reviews daily unassigned requests and assigns appropriate service provider
Assist with identification of service gaps
Provide information on procedures for requesting interpreter services and canceling service requests
Interact with internal and external customers including vendors and Swedish staff
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as scheduler/dispatcher
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate’s degree in social services or business
Experience with contracts
Experience in social services or medical environment
