Swedish Medical Center Speech Pathologist - Inpatient Rehab Services in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Speech Pathologist (0.5 FTE, Days) to work in Inpatient Rehab Services at Swedish Ballard in Seattle, WA.
The speech language pathologist (SLP) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of services in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for physical therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.
In this position you will:
Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
Implement treatment program
Reassess treatment results and discharging planning
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited program of speech/language pathology culminating in a minimum of a Master's Degree
Washington state speech-language pathology license or interim permit
Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration
Insurance coverage as mandated by the State of Washington
