Swedish Medical Center Supervisor Patient Registration- Emergency Department in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Supervisor of Patient Registration (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in the Emergency Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Patient Registration Supervisor is accountable for the supervision and delegation of all aspects of daily departmental operations. They also develop and implement an operational plan that includes staffing resources, policies and procedures and quality improvement activities.
In this position you will:
Ensure timely, accurate and compliant registration and financial counseling of all patients
Assure all staff adheres to Swedish’s customer service standards
Ensure compliance with Organization and Department required competencies
Develop and monitor department quality improvement plans and produce monthly reports
Create schedules and monitor daily staff timekeeping
Serve as department resource in problem solving
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in registration, billing and/or financial counseling in health care setting
Proficient in medical terminology
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Previous supervisory experience
