I grew up on Kauai where you learn to share the "aloha spirit". It is a sense of peace and affection. To give my personal best is to treat everyone with respect and compassion.
What inspires you most about working at Swedish?
My co-workers inspire me to give my personal best every day. I work with an amazing team with over 120 collective years of service to Swedish. That longevity and commitment makes working in the department unique. I know if I have a question or need help, the call will be answered.
How do you deliver or impact the extraordinary care given to our patients?
I endeavor to treat every patient with respect and allow them to be active participants in their care. I enjoy being with patients and their families, sharing in their experience of joy and supporting them through heartache.
What are you most proud of regarding your work at Swedish?
I am most proud of my team. We really care for and advocate for our patients. We are all multi-taskers and we are in constant communication with each other. If we see something that needs to be done, we make a plan and spring into action. We help a coworker when they need it, and know that they will do the same for us. We are family!
