Swedish Medical Center Food Service Shift Lead - Cafeteria in Edmonds, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a (0.5 FTE, Days) Food Service Lead to work in the Cafeteria at Swedish Edmonds in Seattle, WA.
The Food Service Shift Lead is responsible for serving as lead in daily food service operations. Performiong required record-keeping, evaluation and monitoring functions on an ongoing basis to insure a quality, safe and sanitary food service operation.
In this position you will :
Serve as lead in the absence of the director and/or operations manager. This includes assisting with development of work schedules and monitoring and reviewing work assignments, checking work for accuracy and giving advice and work instructions to other employees.
Coordinate a variety of tasks related to various food and beverage catering functions, including scheduling, planning, ordering, preparing, costing, billing, and communicating with customers.
Manage data for department month end reporting which includes cash operations for the department, including reconciling cash on hand and maintaining adequate mix of coinage and paper denominations.
Assist in procurement of food and non-food supplies, as well as management of inventory.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school level education
Current Washington State Food handlers’ Permit
