Swedish Medical Center Food Services Worker - Edmonds Cafeteria- $500.00 Employee Referral Bonus in Edmonds, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Food Services Worker (0.8 FTE,Day Shift) to work in Cafeteria at Swedish Edmonds in Edmonds, WA.
This position performs assigned tasks in the serving, assembling, cashiering and stocking of food items in order to deliver food to customers in a quality manner. Cleans working utensils, equipment, workstations and common areas to maintain order and sanitation standards in the department.
In this position you will:
Serve food to customers in cafeteria in order to meet demand for mealtime food service.
Assemble and portion nourishment’s and beverages in order to deliver requested product to customers.
Cleandishware, small wares, and equipment and work areas in order to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Stock work areas with food, supplies and/or small wares in order to provide work materials for staff.
Provide customer assistance in Cafeteria areas and patient care areas in order to meet customer needs and expectations.
Transport food to various service areas in order to accomplish timely delivery of and quality food to requesting areas.
Transport soiled trays and dishware from patient care and catering areas to kitchen for cleaning.
Handle cash as assigned for Lead and Manager’s reconciliation and documentation.
Perform other related duties as requested to facilitate maintenance of department operations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or GED
Current Washington State Food Handler's permit
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Food service experience
