Swedish Medical Center is lookingfor a Medical Imaging Scheduler to work at Swedish Edmonds. Openingsinclude full-time, part-time and per-diem (on-call) positions as well asmultiple shifts.

The Medical Imaging Scheduler isresponsible for scheduling patients for all Radiology modalities.
In this position you will:
Serve as the first point of contract and customerservice liaison to patients and physician offices for the Imagingdepartment
Coordinates schedule with Registration, Day Surgery,Cardiologist and Radiologists
Obtains insurance verification, pertinent lab valuesfor imaging exams, and history and physical information
Distributes necessary information to the appropriateImaging department
Required qualifications for thisposition include:
Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology andunderstands imaging procedures and the sequencing of exams/procedures
Ability to enter information efficiently, accuratelyand completely into computer system
General understanding of insurance authorizations andreferral information
Preferred qualifications for thisposition include:
High School level education or equivalent with coursework in business or office practices
Related experience in Medical Imaging
