We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtful individual in Pharmacy care, promoting the goals and upholding the ideals of Swedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diverse patient population. This position is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for assuring safe, efficient, cost effective drug therapy for all patients.
In this position you will:
Support the practice of pharmacy
Perform drug distribution, record keeping, and clerical activities under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program
Current license to practice as a pharmacy technician in the State of Washington
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy or infusion pharmacy with sterile IV compounding of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy medications
