Swedish Medical Center RN Clinic - Specialty Clinic Support in Edmonds, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Clinic Registered Nurse (1.0 FTE, Day Shift, M-F) to work in Specialty Clinic Support at Swedish Edmonds in Edmonds, WA.
The Clinic RN is responsible for provide professional nursing care following established standards and practices.
In this position you will:
Provides general nursing care to endocrinology and pain patients in a clinic setting
Triages a variety of patient telephone calls to determine the nature of the medical situation. Identifies the problem or needs of the caller, responds to common questions or concerns regarding medical care or refers patient to practitioner
Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to practitioners
Responsible for maintaining controlled substances count in the clinic to maintain accurate records
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required. Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within six years of hire
Minimum one year experience in a clinic setting
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
