Swedish Medical Center Speech-Language Pathologist in Edmonds, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (Per Diem, Days) to work in Inpatient Speech Therapy at Swedish Edmonds in Edmonds, WA.
The Speech-Language Pathologist delivers speech language therapy services to predominantly adult inpatients and outpatients, and to select pediatric/adolescents.
In this position you will:
Perform a functional assessment and evaluation of patients in various age groups including adult and/or geriatric and select adolescent and pediatric patients who are on referral
Develop a treatment plan based on evaluation with participation of patient and family as appropriate
Establish measurable goals described in functional terms which include time frames for achievement
Administer treatment, based on established plan or goals, and assess patient's progress and results of treatment on a timely basis and revise plans or goals as appropriate
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Valid Washington state Speech-Language Pathologist license
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Minimum one year hospital-wide experience with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia
Diagnostic experience with MBS procedures
Experience with MBS procedures
