Swedish Health Services Administrative Supervisor in Issaquah, Washington
Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Administrative Supervisor (0.9 FTE, Day Shift) at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Supervisor who will oversee the medical center operations on shift of responsibility to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.
In this position you will:
Make daily rounds and communicates with the nurse in charge to assure that patient care needs are met
Assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care, as needed, by interpreting and enforcing standards
Communicate concerns regarding delivery of patient/family care to the manager
Allocate resources for quality care and is accountable for appropriate placement of patients
Identify opportunities for quality improvement and initiates appropriate referrals
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire
Registered Nurses employed by Swedish prior to December 1, 2012 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree, but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment
5 years clinical experience
2 years experience in a leadership role
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
Issaquah specific requirement:
ACLS required within 2 months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
