Swedish Medical Center CNA Health Unit Coordinator - Recovery in Issaquah, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for a CNA Health Unit Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Variable) to work in Recovery at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsiblefor performing general secretarial and clerical duties in the patient careareas. The NAC/HUC will interact with patients, familiesand physicians and act as a liaison among members of the health careteam, patients and families.

In this position you will:

  • Assist the nursing staff in coordinating the activity of the unit

  • Be responsible for setting alarms and observing oxygen saturation readings

  • Oversee the orderliness of work areas and orders forms and other clerical supplies

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Current Washington State certification as aNursing Assistant Certified

  • Current CPR certification

  • Washington State Medical Assistant - Registeredwill be required with Swedish Medical Center facility application completed within 7 days of hire. Mustobtain active license within 60 days of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Six months of acute care experience

  • One year of skilled nursing experience. Acute or skilled experience will be waived if the applicant has demonstratedexperience involving customer service in healthcare or other related industryand completion of an acute care NAC course
