Swedish Medical Center Licensed Electrician - Facility Management in Issaquah, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for a full-time Licensed Electrician to work Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm for Facility Management at the Swedish Issaquah Campus in Issaquah, WA.

The Licensed Electrician performs a large variety of duties in the following areas: installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

In this position you will:

  • Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose problems and malfunctions of electrical components including circuits, breakers, controls, motors, lighting, machinery, and equipment.

  • Perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment.

  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, diagrams, meters, gauges, and testing equipment relative to electrical components and equipment.

  • Require considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma

  • Washington State Journeyman Electrical 01 License

  • 4 years of experience in commercial electrical field

  • Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work

  • Must be in good physical condition to perform many physically demanding tasks including; climbing ladders working in high places, working in tight/confined space, climbing several flights of stairs, reaching overhead and below the floor
