Swedish Health Services Nutrition Services Sanitation *Hiring Event December 9th* in Issaquah, Washington

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Nutrition Services Sanitation (0.5 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Nutrition Services at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.

This position is responsible for washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures. Retrieve soiled meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center.

In this position you will:

  • Scrape, wash, rinse and sanitize service ware, equipment and work area.

  • Handle, mix, store and use chemicals safely and according to department standards.

  • Unload soiled dishes from carts or conveyor belt.

  • Maintain separate clean and dirty areas. Wash hands when moving from area to area.

  • Take temperatures of each dish machine tank and water in the pots & pans sinks. Record temperatures on temperature log throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Current State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Six (6) months related experience and/or training
