Swedish Medical Center Nutrition Services, Sanitation Per Diem in Issaquah, Washington

Description:

Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Per Diem Nutrition Services Sanitation at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Nutrition Services Employee who will uphold washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures. Retrieve soiled meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center. On First Hill and Cherry Hill, responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning floor and emptying garbage. Perform related tasks as required.

In this position you will:

  • Scrapes, washes, rinses and sanitizes service ware, equipment and work area.

  • Handles, mixes, stores and uses chemicals safely and according to department standards.

  • Unloads soiled dishes from carts or conveyor belt.

  • Maintains separate clean and dirty areas. Washes hands when moving from area to area.

  • Takes temperatures of each dishmachine tank and water in the pots & pans sinks. Records temperatures on temperature log throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school Diploma or GED

  • Current State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Six months related experience and/or training.
