Swedish Health Services Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab Services in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist (Per Diem, Day Shift) to work in Inpatient Rehab Services at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
The occupational therapist (OT) delivers skilled services within the framework of a team approach consulting appropriate disciplines and the patient in an Acute Care / ICU setting. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for occupational therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate complex problem solving skills in both patient care and department operations.
Documentation meets regulatory requirements, departmental standards, and considers reimbursement needs. Documents on day of visit, usually at time of visit.
Carry out assigned responsibilities in a timely and complete manner, using appropriate judgment and detail.
Productivity consistently meets department standards.
Respond to requests in a positive and helpful manner. Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
Implement treatment program
Reassess treatment results and discharging planning
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy
Washington state occupational therapy license or limited permit
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
