Swedish Health Services Radiology Technologist Registered - Medical Imaging in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Radiology Technologist Registered (1.0 FTE, Evening Shift) to work in Medical Imaging at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
Performs a variety of technical procedures to include fluoroscopy and plain films as well as portable x-ray and c-arm operations in various locales. Examples of these procedures include but are not limited to barium studies, arthrography, myelography, and fluoroscopic guidance for invasive procedures. Provides appropriate care to patients and assures their safety from a physical and clinical perspective.
In this position you will:
Demonstrates functional understanding of various types of x-ray equipment and applications, to include c-arm, portable, R&F, etc.
Provides optimal diagnostic images in an expedient manner as well as provides appropriate clinical information to the radiologist.
Consistently follows departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy and physiology sufficient to allow optimum positioning of patients for imaging.
Demonstrates knowledge and application of radiation safety.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program
At the time of hire must have Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT.
Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- One (1) year experience as a radiological technologist
