Swedish Health Services Respiratory Care Practitioner in Issaquah, Washington

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (0.6 FTE, NIGHT SHIFT) to work in Respiratory Therapy at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
We are seeking a licensed respiratory therapist who uses initiative and independent judgment to provide preventative and restorative care to patients with breathing problems or cardiopulmonary disorders. May work with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
In this position you will:
Explains purpose and procedure of treatments, tests, and equipment to the patient.
Completes required Epic documentation, billing, scheduling and scanning as applicable.
Gives clear, informative report to relief personnel.
Adheres to departmental standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
Initiates, operates, monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilation. Continually assess patient's respiratory function and ability to wean from mechanical ventilation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory care program
Must successfully complete hospital orientation, Respiratory Care Department orientation, and Neonatal and Pediatric orientation
Must be a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with the Washington State Department of Health under Chapter 18.89 RCW
Must be registry eligible with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required at time of hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required at time of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at time of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials are preferred
New graduates qualify for temporary practice if they have complied with the Washington State Department of Health WAC 246-928-530
Active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) is preferred
Six (6) months previous hospital based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care
