Swedish Health Services Speech Language Pathologist - Inpatient Rehab Services in Issaquah, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (Per Diem, Days) in Inpatient Rehab Services at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) delivers services in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing (must be able to conduct modified barium swallow studies). Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient in an acute care / ICU setting. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for Speech Language Pathologist's, and current accepted state of the art practice.

In this position you will:

  • Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes

  • Implement treatment program

  • Reassess treatment results and discharging planning

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate from an accredited program of speech/language pathology

  • Washington state speech-language pathology license

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration

  • Insurance coverage as mandated by the State of Washington
