Swedish Medical Center Stroke Clinical Operations Coordinator - Neuroscience Stroke Clinic in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Stroke Clinical Operations Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) in Neuroscience Stroke Clinic at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Stroke Clinical Operations Coordinator takes a leadership role in clinical quality improvement efforts to include collaborative role in completing system analyses and PDSA/RCA cycles to assure optimal stroke patient experience across the system.
In this position you will:
Participate in the development and planning of a stroke program
Work with the Medical Director and Stroke Program Director to educate staff (physicians, nursing and ancillary) about the program
Assure ongoing regulatory requirements are met for Joint Commission Stroke certification, DOH and DNV stroke regulatory requirements
Work with Stroke Team to operationalize bundlecare concepts
Provide clinical and administrative support for stroke in collaboration with physician, advanced practice clinician and nursing Stroke Team members
Function as a resource nurse to Stroke Team, staff and patients
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire
Continued employment by Swedish beyond five years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Current stroke experience in the inpatient setting, as well as experience regarding regulatory and systems issues
