Swedish Health Services Revenue Cycle Liaison Physician Billing - Central Business Svcs in Olympia, Washington
Description:
Swedish Medical Group is looking for Revenue Cycle Liaison Physician Billing (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work at Central Business Services in Seattle, WA.
Serves as a liaison and builds collaborative relationships between revenue cycle and clinic operations to ensure the optimum design and use of revenue cycle software and workflows for patient experience, resource efficiency, and revenue capture while reducing controlled adjustments and improving related key performance metrics. This position is responsible for optimizing key business processes.
In this position you will:
This position will require travel between Swedish Clinic sites on a regular basis. Position will have assigned clinic rotation schedule. Rounding and visibility are core functions of this position.
Collaborate with operational users to investigate and analyze problems to identify root cause issues pertaining to professional billing. Provide subject matter expertise, support and training as necessary to address specific issues.
Recommend enhancements to existing functionality to optimize efficiency and support financial excellence.
Develop, facilitate and present topic seminars/workshops in the business office or clinic setting.
Work with departmental leaders to ensure appropriate billing compliances are met.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position inlude:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Five (5) years progressively responsible work experience in a health care business office or directly related billing, collections, or other related business experience
Two (2) years healthcare billing, collection or other related business experience in the healthcare field
Six (6) months experienced with practice management software and electronic medical record software
Preferred qualifications for this position inlude:
- Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience
