Swedish Medical Center Administrative Assistant II - OB Neonatal Admin in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for Administrative Assistan t II (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in OB Neonatal Admin at Swedish First Hill located in Seattle, WA.
Administrative Assistant II position is responsible for independently coordinating and performing complex and specialized administrative, office and staffing duties in carrying out department accountabilities. Position is accountable for the overall coordination and preparation of the daily staff schedules and reports of the Surgical Services or Nursing departments
In this position you will:
Participate with department management in the planning and management of one or more department accountabilities.
Monitor and oversee department Sick Call Line, advises unit managers, and documents staff absences in the time and attendance system.
Acts as timekeeper for time and attendance program (electronic and paper), resolving incomplete or missing data. Ensures transfers are accurately recorded.
Track and update staff licensure and certification. Accountable for the ESP/ANSOS integrity, accuracy, and completeness of system database in a timely manner.
Liaison for internal and external customers like Human Resources and Payroll to resolve staff issues, including timecards, time and attendance program, and contract interpretation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
3 years High volume hospital facility or large clinic in a healthcare data position or related healthcare field.
Scheduling experience in a healthcare setting (such as patient scheduling or scheduling doctors or nurses, etc.).
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business oriented field or computer science. Or equivalent educ/experience
Staff scheduling preferred however not mandatory.
Time and attendance program (such as KRONOS or similar) that includes scheduling.
