Swedish Health Services Administrative Assistant II - Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington
The Swedish Cancer Institute is looking for an Administrative Assistan t II (1.0 FTE, Day Shift ) at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
This position provides a wide range of highly complex and moderate to high volume administrative tasks in support of at least one director of a major organization. Responsibilities include the organization, prioritization and coordination of a moderate to high volume of work including confidential information.
In this position you will:
Customer Service – this function is the level and scope by which the incumbent manages customer contact – phones, e-mail, visitors and customer request, questions, and complaints. Customer may be internal Swedish or external (vendors, patients, consultants, public).
Answer multiple telephone lines; prioritize and screen calls.
Manage visitor/customer flow – resolve conflicts and notify appropriate department employee of emergent and urgent issues and redirect customers as necessary.
Office Management – this function is the level and scope by which the incumbent manages workflow and notifies Department Manager of workflow issues.
Create, edit, and proofread variety of highly complex correspondence, memos, presentations and public relations materials to high level management, wide organizational distribution, or public distribution.
Project Management – This function is the level and scope by which the incumbent manages routine and emergent department/organization projects- organizes, prioritizes and coordinates workflow
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Business Office program or two years administrative/clerical work experience may be substituted for the education requirement
Minimum of three (3) years of job related experience
Ability to handle moderately complex to highly complex problems or issues in standard and especially emergent situations.
