Swedish Medical Center Administrative Assistant - Neuroscience Administration in Seattle, Washington

Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Administrative Assistant (1.0 FTE, Days) for the Neuroscience Administration at Swedish Cherry Hill Campus, in Seattle, WA

The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role on the SMG Administration Team, demonstrating the Swedish values of patient-centered care and service, respect, caring and compassion.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, either 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm

In this position you will:

  • Prepare agenda/meeting minutes and departmental communication

  • Run online reports

  • Maintain shared calendar

  • Arrange caregiver appreciation events

  • Assist in preparing complex administrative reports, rosters and statements

  • Compute semi-complex calculations, and prepare special reports/analyses for review by appropriate personnel

  • Maintain executive/manager daily calendar, coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, interviews and appointments as necessary

  • Receive and processes communications such as correspondence, reports and memoranda

  • Ensure all forms of written communications (letters, faxes, memos, etc.) are accurately prepared and distributed in a timely manner

  • Review and screen visitors and telephone calls

  • Establish, maintain and revise record keeping and filing systems

  • Provide professional representation of Swedish Medical Group (SMG) and designated executive/manager in all external and internal contacts

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent AND completion of at least one year of post-high school business courses/training

  • 3-5 years of progressive responsibility as an administrative assistant in a large, complex organization

  • Ability to accurately proof, edit and draft correspondence and complex reports

  • Ability to perform semi-complex calculations and monitor budgets

  • Ability to develop and maintain of record keeping and filing systems

  • Ability to utilize complex computer programs and platforms

  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve independently

  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
