Swedish Medical Center Annual Giving Manager in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Where you work Matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Annual Giving Manager (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) at the Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for developing and

administering cultivation and solicitations for individuals with giving levels

under $10,000, as well as donor acquisition and retention. This includes the day-to-day coordination,

implementation and analysis of direct mail campaigns, telefunding, caregiver

giving, work place giving and matching gifts, gift club renewals and online

giving.

In this position you will:

  • Works in partnership with the Director of Annual Giving, Philanthropy Officers, and Philanthropy Services team members to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to retain and upgrade individual donors who give at the $1,500 to $10,000 levels, this includes monthly gift club renewals.

  • Manages all aspects of direct mail, the Honor Your Caregiver program and other targeted letters. This includes strategy and projections, copy and design, database selections, production, and tracking performance and results. Selects and serves as primary contact for vendors.

  • Manages content development and production of letters and other strategies related to donor solicitation, acquisition, retention and recovery, primarily for donors who give less than $1,500 annually.

  • Provides metrics of campaign performance, including analysis about trends, best practices and future recommendation.

  • Works in partnership with the Director of Annual Giving to develop and implement strategies for the annual caregiver giving campaign, including related direct mail, emails, presentations, and other messaging.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.

  • 3 years development experience with established record of fundraising success

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Analytical and financial knowledge
