Swedish Medical Center Athletic Trainer - Pediatric Specialists in Seattle, Washington


Swedish is looking for an Athletic Trainer Certified (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for Pediatric Specialists at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

Act as an extension to the physician by providing full continuum of Athletic Trainer services and patient care within the level and scope of training and ATC licensure.

In this position you will:

  • Perform limited functional physical examinations, record medical histories, and formulate accurate care plans in collaboration with supervising physician.

  • Effectively formulate and implement patient care treatment plans including but not limited to appropriate rehabilitation protocols as well as the coordination of physical therapy and imaging referrals.

  • Consult with physician(s) as needed to assess patient care and ongoing treatment.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with major in Athletic Training

  • Washington State Athletic Trainer Certification

  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers

  • Current Washington State License (AT-L)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s Degree preferred
