Swedish Medical Group is looking for an Audiology Technician Assistant (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to work in Ballard Otolaryngology Clinic at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA.

The Audiology Assistant plays a vital role on the patient care team, demonstrating the Swedish values of patient-centered care and service; respect, caring and compassion; teamwork and partnership; continuous learning and improvement; and leadership.
In this position you will:
Under audiologist's supervision prepare hearing aids, implantable technology devices and other amplification systems for delivery.
Manage device orders and repairs.
Conduct preauthorization with 3rd party payers on hearing aid benefits.
Provide administrative support, including maintaining electronic medical records and answering phones.
Provide adequate instructions to patients in the use of hearing aids with written materials created by the audiologist and/or per manufacturer instructional guides on hearing aid battery use/precautions, ,hearing aid insertion and removal, and maintenance.
Required qualification for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
One (1) year Healthcare or health sciences experience
