Swedish Health Services Business Data Analyst - Central Business Services in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Group is looking for Business Data Analyst (1.0 FTE, Day SHIFT) to work in the Central Business Services at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle,WA.
Reporting to a Director level position within Swedish Medical Group, this position is responsible for performing a variety of business analyses to support the administrative operations of the physician practices and the medical group at large in pursuit of developing and standardizing its monthly operating reports and delivering actionable data with meaningful analyses to provide clear line of site into areas of opportunity.
In this position you will:
Oversees and prepares Monthly Operating Reports, Dashboards, drill down reports/visualizations and ad hoc reports as required by executive and senior leadership.
Serve as the primary steward of stakeholder needs, translating high-level business, clinical, and operational questions into specific requirements that can be answered using the systems' data assets.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to prioritize and generate robust dashboards that address multiple needs and serve as the sources of truth on key business and care metrics.
Lead analytics projects from creation to completion using a Clinical Operations and Business Analytics operating model and provide quantitative and qualitative analytic support that incorporate finance and clinical operations within the medical group.
Develop interactive dashboards using modern business intelligence tools that allow users to drill down to the data that matters most to them.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
2 years related experience in physician and medical group financial and/or operational analysis, preferably within an integrated healthcare delivery system inclusive of ambulatory and acute care operations.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Relational Databases (Access, SQL Server)
Develops and delivers effective presentations
Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Project management, LEAN, CAP or other change management certification.
