Swedish Medical Center Clinic Administrator II - Heart And Vascular Clinic in Seattle, Washington

Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Clinic Administrator II (1.0 FTE, Days) to work at Heart And Vascular Clinic in Seattle, WA.

The Clinic Administrator II provides ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of multiple clinics.

In this position you will:

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and the Clinic Medical Director(s) to ensure that expectations of the patients and providers are met.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the support staff in the clinic, including access, scheduling, patient flow, telephones, information systems, medical records and patient care to ensure maximum service to patients.

  • Develop and maintain an effective organizational structure to facilitate clinic goals; manage recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinic support staff.

  • Analyze monthly operational reports and statistical data on patient levels and revenues; recommend and implement process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency.

  • Develop, monitor and adhere to multiple annual clinic operating budgets including projecting patient levels, revenue, technical and professional fees, equipment expenditures, staff and employee growth and space needs. Research and analyze costs and fees.

  • Analyze monthly statistical reports on clinic production and revenues. Recommend and implement process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency.

  • Provide education and direction to providers and staff on the organization’s direction, initiatives and philosophy.

  • Oversee clinic participation and compliance in all SMG programs.

  • Oversee quality and medical management programs for the clinic; assure compliance of same.

  • Identify and address patient concerns and complaints in an appropriate, timely manner and in accordance with SMG customer service guidelines; review and respond to patient satisfaction data and recommend and implement process improvement to address areas of deficiency.

  • Lead monthly all-staff meetings and actively participates in ongoing provider meetings.

  • Ensure clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies; continually monitor operations and programs and initiate changes as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or business required plus minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare management, physician practice management and/or clinical operations; OR six (6) years equivalent work experience which includes management experience

  • Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience
