Swedish Medical Center Clinic Office Coordinator - Medical Imaging in Seattle, Washington
Swedish is looking for a Clinic Office Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for Medical Imaging at Swedish Ballard in Seattle, WA.
The duties may include, but are not limited to, the department and patient scheduling and coordination of patient appointments with other services as required, obtaining patient information and insurance coverage; answering and triaging incoming phone calls; as well as various office management duties such as assembling, processing mail and deliveries, maintain supplies, updating medical records, maintain office procedures and policies, equipment and orient new employees.
In this position you will:
Obtain patient information and insurance coverage
Schedule patients for services needed specific to department. This may include but is not limited to scheduling for other clinic services at multiple locations, counseling, and diagnosis or lab procedures. Advise patient about insurance/payment options.
May need to maintain x-ray films and/or process document storage of documents per Swedish policy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid Washington State driver’s license and minimum necessary vehicle insurance as mandated by the state of Washington
Minimum 3 years front office experience in a clinic setting
Advanced knowledge of patient scheduling programs
