Swedish Medical Center is looking for aClinical Trial Nurse (1.0 FTE, Days) in Neuroscience Research at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Clinical Trial Nurse independentlycoordinates research and administrative tasks in support of one or moreresearch studies.
In this position you will:
Provides clinical nursingcare for privately, federally and/or commercially sponsored researchactivities.
Ensure timely attention toand scheduling of clinical procedures required by research protocols for allpatients enrolled on studies requiring such procedures.
Works with study investigators and supervisor to address study-related issues.
Support department financial performance throughbudgeting and billing.
Train other research coordinators in the proper conductof research studies
Participate in quality control activities.
Required qualifications for thisposition include:
Nursing Degree (BSN) froman accredited school of nursing.Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSNwithin five years of hire. Continuedemployment by Swedish beyond five years is contingent upon attaining the BSNdegree. Registered Nurses employed bySwedish prior to December 1, 2012 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree, butobtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
At least 2 years in a nursing specialty consistent with the specified research field.
Current license to practiceas a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
As determined by departmentor study need: Valid Washington State driver’s license is required.
As determined by departmentor study need: Possession of the minimum (or greater) auto insurance coverageas mandated by the state of Washington also required.
