Swedish Medical Center Director Nursing Services Acute Care in Seattle, Washington
Swedish is looking for a Director Nursing Services Acute Care to work at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Director is accountable for the operations of the inpatient nursing units. Responsible for the quality assessment, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and standardization of system wide inpatient care.
In this position you will:
Works in collaboration with the Nurse Executives, the Chief Nursing Officer, Support Services, Service line Directors and Medical Directors for the services.
Be accountable for the quality assessment, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and standardization of system wide patient care.
Integrates with the organization’s operations, participates in performance improvement activities and ensures professional and regulatory compliance is achieved in all areas of responsibility.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing if no Master’s
Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
Current BLS certification
Certification in Nursing Administration required after 2 years in the position
Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership ability.
