Swedish Health Services Director, Philanthropy - Foundation Major Gifts in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Director, Philanthropy (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Foundation Major Gifts at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.
Responsible for directing and managing fundraising activities related to the acquisition of current major gifts exceeding $50,000. Develop and implement strategic plans designed to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with individual, foundation, and corporate donors
In this position you will:
Responsible for raising donations for capital and operating needs to optimize fundraising success and help fulfill Swedish’s mission and strategic objectives.
Work closely with administrative and medical leadership to determine priority needs; provide fundraising and consultative services throughout Swedish regarding strategic planning and positioning activities to optimize fundraising potential.
Work closely with Foundation Board of Governors, Foundation President, and administration and physician leadership to develop and implement fundraising strategies consistent with Swedish’s goals.
Provide strong, creative, energetic, and strategic leadership on development initiatives to meet short- and long-term fundraising goals.
Develop strategies and implements activities to maximize relationships and donations from individuals, foundations, corporations, and organizations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
7 years progressively responsible fund raising experience
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Advanced degree is highly desirable
