Swedish Medical Center Education Coordinator - Academic Affiliations Clinical Education in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Shared Services is looking for an Education Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day) to work for in Academic Affiliations Clinical Education at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Education Coordinator is responsible for participating in decisions for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs provided for Swedish managers and employees. This role applies all elements of the learning process – needs assessment, program planning, instructional methodologies, and outcome evaluation to all department programs.
In this position you will:
Establish systems and processes that support education programs, including registration management, marketing and communication, presentation and delivery methods, and record maintenance for compliance with regulatory and organization standards.
Provide individual consultation and support for team director, department manager and educators regarding all elements of education program implementation and follow-up.
Participate as faculty for selected employee learning programs and functions as the department liaison for external customers.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in education or management, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of job related experience in a leadership role, including one or more of the following areas: education, training, management, or consultation
Experience includes management of complex education programs or administrative projects in a large organization
Good presentation skills
Advanced computer skills, including software for word processing, spreadsheet and data base management, and publishing and graphics
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex education programs/projects impacting large numbers of employees. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, including managers, employees, and outside vendors
