Description:
Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Electronic Medical Records Clerk (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to work in Swedish Centralized Services at Swedish Medical Group located in Seattle, WA.
The Electronic Medical Records Clerk provides staff with an efficient system for maintaining, filing, locating, logging, retrieving and delivering patient medical records.
In this position you will:
Examine patient’s electronic medical record(s) for completeness ensuring all required information is included; note any deficiencies and refer to appropriate area for follow-up
Review upcoming clinic schedules 3-5 business days in advance and scan in all necessary medical records.
Scan images/documents into EPIC and ensure accuracy by using the correct document naming convention
Distribute all incoming faxes via RightFax
Answer medical records telephone and respond accordingly
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Clerical experience in a clinic setting
