Swedish Medical Center Executive Assistant - Administration in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Executive Assistant (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Administration at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for a wide range of high-level administrative support to a Chief or Senior Regional Executive or members of the Senior Leadership Team.

In this position you will:

  • Provide a range of support services and manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage and prioritize the calendar and meeting schedule by identifying required meeting specifics and assessing appropriateness of the requests

  • Coordinate and schedule the most convenient meeting time if for multiple

  • Develop, prepare and/or assemble necessary materials for meetings, including background information, presentations, agendas, invitations, and other materials

  • Arrange for meeting rooms, food service, supplies and other materials as needed

  • Work collaboratively with other executive assistants at the senior leadership team level

  • Coordinate efforts across the Swedish region and with internal department leaders and with external organization and leaders.

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Qualifications:

Required qualifiations for this position include:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school

  • Minimum five years recent administrative work supporting a high level executive in a major organization

  • Ability to plan and prioritize a high volume of work within deadlines.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Knowledge of scheduling programs, e-mail, voice mail and transcription equipment

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to support the multiple and competing demands of supporting two or more Senior Executives

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Health Care experience
