Swedish Medical Center Grant Application Specialist - Clinical Research Center Admin in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Grant Application Specialist (1.0 FTE, Days) to work for the Clinical Research Center Admin in Seattle, WA.
The Grant Application Specialist is responsible for the preparation and review of all research grant applications on behalf of Swedish Health Services before submission to Federal agencies such as NIH, CDC, and other grant-making organizations.
In this position you will:
Provide oversight and management of the grant application process starting from project planning to submission
Assist in scheduling and planning for submissions of new grant and subcontract applications
Prepare grant application package for submission to funding agencies
Collect and track all proposal submissions
Responsible for renewal, requests for modification, and all other documents requiring submission to funding agencies.
Collaborates with project teams to provide fiscal and compliance expertise to both pre and post award activities
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Accounting, Public Administration or related field from college or university; or equivalent combinations of education and experience
Minimum of five years’ experience in research grants experience
Experience with grant applications to National Institutes of Health and other funders, including the non-competing continuation application process
Minimum of two years’ experience and/or training in financial coordination of Federal grants and/or contracts, accounting methods, or other financial tracking and reporting responsibilities
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office
