Swedish Medical Center Healthcare Analytics Manager - Quality And Patient Safety in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Healthcare Analytics Manager (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Quality and Patient Safety at Swedish in Seattle, WA. The Healthcare Analytics Manager works within the Quality and Patient Safety department to manage the data flow for SMC's national and state quality data requirements and will office out of the First Hill hospital campus. The Healthcare Analytics Manager position is focused on supporting the organization’s clinical registries and external reporting processes and submissions (CMS, Leapfrog, etc.). In this position you will:
Ensure that data, process, and documentation is updated as regulatory requirements change and that SMC is appropriately measuring or quantifying healthcare processes and outcomes.
Oversee the team performing the collection and transmittal of CMS data, ensuring that all timelines and deliverables are met.
Collaborate with the Medical Director of Quality and Patient Safety and other Clinical leaders to link clinical data to quality initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Manage the team responsible for clinical data abstraction and submission, and external reporting for the organization.
Develop, maintain, and enforce efficiencies and data standards across various data platforms .
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing, Business, Education, Applied Behavioral Science, Hospital Administration or related field
6 years project management or consulting experience with a significant portion focused on clinical quality improvement and performance assessment
2 years of supervisory or lead experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters Degree in Nursing, Business, Education, Applied Behavioral Science, Hospital Administration or related field
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or other certification in metrics and analytics
