Swedish Medical Center Licensed Engineer Grade II in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Licensed Engineer Grade II to work full-time on the day or evening shifts in Facility Management Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Licensed Engineer Grade II is responsible for Operates, maintains,

repairs and cleans boilers, steam systems and associated equipment, diesel

generator sets, ventilation systems, air conditioning systems and all other

equipment located in boiler and mechanical rooms. This position must hold a valid City of

Seattle Grade II Steam Engineers license.

In this position you will:

  • Perform assigned tasks in avery skillful manner

  • Be able to workindependently with minimum supervision 100% of the time.

  • Meet job completionstandards

  • Have the knowledge tocompleted assigned repairs.

  • Performs work using propersafety devices & procedures 100% of the time.

  • Read and update mechanicalprints and schematics properly as required by job needs.

  • Perform preventivemaintenance completely and properly.

  • Install new equipment anddevices properly per directions.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • A valid City of Seattle Grade II Steam Engineers license
